I've mentioned in a recent post that I'm not a big fan of black dresses. Although elegant and slimming, I just feel so somber in black. I'm more fond of wearing bright colors, whether it be for day or night. That being said, I do have to wear black dresses for some events so I tried making a couple that I think would suit my personality. I think this first dress is very feminine. Made with satin and tulle rosettes, I would wear this low cut dress with a tube inside. But for the daring ladies out there, you can wear this by itself, just make sure to have on hand your double sided tape to avoid any unwanted exposure!

The second dress was inspired by a man's suit. I added gray lapels to this satin dress and again, I'd also wear this with a tube inside. I think I could even get away with wearing this to the office, even if the fabric is a little bit shiny!
